Which Zodiac Sign Is The Rarest To Have?

At a glance, it's hard to say which of the twelve zodiac signs is the rarest, since figuring out which sign is the least common means determining during which time period the fewest number of people are born. Fortunately, there are some trends that give us a good indication without having to survey the entire world.
According to astrologer Lisa Stardust, Aquarius is the rarest zodiac sign, since “there are the least amount of births in January and February.” Aquarians are born between January 20 and February 18, and one reason for their rarity may be that February is the shortest month, and therefore there is less of an opportunity for people to be born during that time.
It is harder to pin down the most common zodiac sign; per Astrofame, Scorpio is the most prevalent zodiac sign and encompasses late October to late November. But LiveWell reports that August is the most common birth month, which implies that Leos and Virgos would be the most common signs.
