What is it?
Numerology is the study of numbers and their energetic influence while using numbers one through nine, 11, 22, and 33. It helps you analyze the mystical and divine relationship between numbers to give you an understanding of yourself.
How It Works
Numerologists will start by breaking down the letters in a person's full name, utilizing a simple chart to translate each letter into a number, then they will add the numbers together. If the number is double digits, most numerology systems require the numerologist to add the two digits in that number together to get down to a single digit.
Different Styles
Modern numerology practices are primarily based on the teaching of Pythagoras, an ancient Greek philosopher, musician, and mathematician. However, there are two other styles of numerology: the Chaldean system from India and Kabbalah with roots in Hebrew divination.
