How To Properly Dry Brush Your Body
By LESLIE LEON
Dry brushing is the trendiest way to exfoliate your skin, and it also helps with digestion, cellulite, and more. However, you should be cautious when it comes to dry brushing, and this is how to do it correctly so you can get all the benefits.
Using a dry brush that isn’t too stiff, start at your feet and make your way up in firm circular motions, but doing it too harshly could do more harm than good. The best time to dry brush is before you shower, since you’re dry, and once you’re out of the shower, use a moisturizer to rehydrate your skin.
Dry brush one to two times a week, and clean your brush with gentle soap to remove any dead skin cells. Additional benefits of dry brushing include accelerating the lymphatic system, opening up pores, and removing dead skin cells to achieve healthy skin.
