Aldi Is Selling $13 Jeans But Don't Run Out And Buy Them Just Yet
In today's economic climate, breaking unwise spending habits is your best friend. Luckily, some companies provide decent-quality products at a rather low price, and one of them is Aldi. Most recently, everyone's talking about the brand's Serra Circulose Denim Jeans, which will be sold for $12.99 from April 9 to April 15, and it's probably safe to say that they'll sell out quickly with a price like that.
Those with a keen eye will quickly notice that these jeans look like similar styles sold at Reformation. The mid-rise style comes in two washes, and they're perfect for anyone who loves straight-leg jeans. The two colors have slight differences, with the Light Blue having a subtle flare leg with a small slit, while the Dark Blue is a classic straight style that cuts right at the ankle. The materials between the two also vary — while both are made out of cotton with a small amount of elastane, the light wash also contains viscose, while the darker one includes spandex. While these differences are minor, they do affect the stretchiness of the jeans.
So, which ones should you go for? If you're more into unique styles, you might veer toward the lighter wash with the small slit. The slit doesn't change the silhouette too much, but it does add an interesting element. In fact, the jeans remind us of the Jax Stretch High Rise Straight Jeans from Reformation. If you prefer classic, washed-out jeans that are also stretchy, you should opt for the darker wash. While not identical, this style is similar to Reformation's Cynthia High Rise Straight Jeans.
This isn't the first time Aldi has given us great fashion at affordable prices
Those who shop at Aldi probably know that the Serra Circulose Denim Jeans aren't its first clothing item to go viral. In fact, Aldi's Serra Jeggings were a popular style that quickly became a closet staple for many. "These leggings are amazing! The XLs aren't so tight [that] I struggle to get them on; they're stretchy enough for me to stuff my mama pouch in. I feel good in them which is a huge plus," a recent mother shared on Reddit.
Earlier this year, Aldi gave us another viral fashion moment with the release of its Serra Chambray Pants — a style that retailed for an impressive $9.99. People were quick to compare the item to L.L. Bean's chambray pants, which retail for about six times the price. So, if you're in the market for a new pair of straight jeans, which flatter every body type, Aldi might just be a reasonable place to get a pair. And who knows — it might just turn out to be the best-spent $12.99 of your year so far!
