Rumi Carter Takes Fashion Cues From Blue Ivy At 2025 Super Bowl & Looks So Grown Up

The 2025 Super Bowl, held on Sunday, February 9, was a star-studded spectacle. Celebs like Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, and Ice Spice were busy cheering for their favorites on the field, but little did they know that a 13-year-old and a 7-year-old would steal their spotlight. Rapper Jay-Z attended the highly anticipated game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, with his and Beyoncé's daughters, Blue Ivy and Rumi Carter — and let's just say that the family outing quickly turned into a full-on fashion moment.

While Blue Ivy has been exploring the spotlight much more lately, even dancing alongside Beyoncé during the "Cowboy Carter" singer's Netflix halftime show on Christmas Day 2024, we didn't expect to see Rumi making such a fashionable entrance alongside her big sister. Ultimately, one thing is certain: While there were quite a few worst-dressed celebs at the 2025 Super Bowl, Rumi took notes from Blue Ivy (and their always-flawless mother) and served up a laid-back yet effortlessly chic game-day look.

Both Blue Ivy and Rumi Carter brought their fashion A-game to Super Bowl LIX, proving once again that they're celebrity kids with the potential to become fashion icons as they get older. Queen Bey's daughters twinned in effortlessly cool and coordinated looks. More specifically, Blue Ivy and Rumi both rocked baggy cargo jeans, which they paired with black jackets — Blue went for an oversized leather moment, while Rumi kept it sporty with a black, collared bomber with bold, white stripes down the sleeves. Blue Ivy (and potentially her sister) was dressed by stylist Stephanie Andrea, who has been working with Beyoncé for years. One thing's for sure: These looks didn't come from the Target clearance rack. 

In fact, Blue Ivy sported the Round Biker Balenciaga Jacket from the brand's Summer 2025 collection. A similar style from the brand, the Balenciaga Bomber Leather Jacket, retails for $8,790, but it's safe to say that the newest model is pricier. To add a fun pop of pattern, the teen accessorized with a Ashley Minimalist Baguette Leopard by Ciriaco, which costs a pretty $450.

As for Rumi's look? It was equally stylish, but the 7-year-old added her own little twist. To complement the white stripes on her jacket and add a fun graphic touch, the young fashionista carried the AMIRI Off-White MA Canvas Camera Case Bag with a bold logo print on it — a luxe little number that retails for $650. While Blue Ivy wore her hair down, Rumi went for a sleek, slicked-back look, bringing an extra dose of polished coolness to her Super Bowl ensemble.

When it comes to the Carter family, the 2025 Super Bowl certainly wasn't their first big family outing. In fact, Jay-Z has made it a bit of a tradition to bring his daughters along, with Blue Ivy attending with him in 2020, 2022, 2023, and 2024, while Rumi joined the two last year for Super Bowl LVIII — the same event where Beyoncé announced her "Cowboy Carter" album and released its first two singles.

One thing that's become clear over the years is that Blue Ivy has been using these sports events to showcase her style, and now Rumi seems to be following suit. Last year, the sister duo kept it casual-chic, too, with Blue Ivy wearing jeans, an Off-White varsity jacket (similar styles retail for $500 to $700 today), and a pair of Nike Dunk Low sneakers. Meanwhile, Rumi went for a slightly more dressed-up look for her first Super Bowl. The then-6-year-old sported a Givenchy leather bomber jacket (which retailed for $684 at the time), a black miniskirt, and matching black leather booties. Together, their styles complement each other perfectly and emphasize what sisterhood is all about.

Now, while we've already witnessed Blue Ivy Carter's style transformation from Beyoncé's mini-me to a budding fashionista, we can't wait to see how Rumi Carter's personal style continues to evolve.
