Tiffany Trump's Biggest Makeup Mistakes
The Trump family name is pretty notorious and many grew up seeing Ivanka Trump in the headlines, but her half-sister Tiffany Trump grew up relatively out of the spotlight. However, since their father Donald Trump began his campaign for presidency in 2016, Tiffany has been front and center in the public eye and she's rarely without loads of product on her face (besides the few times we saw what Tiffany Trump looks like without makeup). As an expert in the field with years of glamming up clients, I can confirm that Donald's youngest daughter loves a beat face. False lashes, smokey eyes, and loads of liner seem to call to her, but it's not always executed well.
We all suffer through makeup mistakes and Tiffany is not exempt from them. Even though she's worth millions of dollars, that doesn't mean she always has a team of stylists at her disposal. It's unclear if she's in charge of her own makeup during public appearances but the University of Pennsylvania graduate has had some huge beauty fails over the years that are too hard to ignore.
Tiffany Trump's false lashes weighed her down
Tiffany Trump has been making her way into the fashionista crowd since she walked the runway during the 2016 New York Fashion Week at the Just Drew show. Following her modeling debut, Tiffany has been seen hobnobbing with various designers, including Taoray Wang at her 2018 NYFW show. While Tiffany's bronze lids and peach lips complemented her robin's egg-blue dress, the false lashes she sported were way too dramatic for her look.
Falsies are typically worn to make our eyes appear wider but if they're too heavy, it can have the opposite effect. Tiffany has naturally heavy lids with eyes that angle downwards, so having an overload of fake lashes made her features look droopy. Instead of the thick set she wore, a pair of soft mink ones with lashes that are longer in the center would have opened up her gorgeous blue eyes. In addition, she should skip the layers of mascara as well and just let the false lashes do their job.
Tiffany Trump had an eyeliner overload during her television appearance
Tiffany Trump has appeared to support her father Donald Trump's campaign, going from appearing by his side to making speeches in front of hundreds of people. As captured by NBC News, she spoke in front of a crowd in October 2020 looking more ready to shimmy at a nightclub than speak at a political event. The Trump family has made many big makeup mistakes in the past and this one was definitely Tiffany's. Her black eyeliner was drawn so heavily, that her bottom lids looked racoon-like and it drew attention to her under-eye circles. Perhaps it was a long day and she simply needed a little touch-up but in this case, she could have used way less liner.
Wearing enough makeup for the cameras is definitely a balancing act and Tiffany tends to go overboard often. With her soft features, she would look better with a more natural look with neutral colors on her eyes and playing up her pout with pink lips. Instead, her heavy makeup while wearing hoop earrings and tight dress just looked out of place during her speech.
Tiffany Trump should stay away from peach eye makeup
Before smokey eyes became Tiffany Trump's go-to makeup look, she experimented with softer shades, such as this peach eye and lip combo in 2017. While at the Spirit of Life Award Luncheon in New York City, Tiffany kept her palette monochromatic with matching coral eyeshadow and lipstick. While the shade was gorgeous on her lips, it just didn't work around her eyes and gave off a pinkeye feel.
Tiffany may have been attempting to bring out her baby blues by wearing a contrasting shade, but she could have done so without the pinkish-orange color. We don't know who needs to hear this but a peachy-pink liner on the bottom lids is never a good idea. If she wanted to enhance her eyes, a beautiful bronze, perhaps from the ecofavor Nude Gold Eyeshadow Palette, would have looked more sophisticated on her lids with a chocolate-brown shadow in her crease for some contour. And, if Tiffany wanted to add some brightness to her face, a pop of color in her inner eyes wouldn't have been a bad idea.
