Diddy's Daughters Are Growing Up Fast
Hip-hop tycoon Sean "Diddy" Combs is in boiling-hot water right now, embroiled in a slew of high-profile sexual assault, harassment, racketeering, and sex-trafficking court cases that certainly deserve the ravenous attention they're getting from both the public and the press. Inevitably, though, this spotlight is also putting attention on the "Last Night" rapper's friends, acquaintances, and even family — such as his four daughters, Chance, D'Lila, Jessie, and Love Combs. "The past month has devastated our family. Many have judged both him and us based on accusations, conspiracy theories, and false narratives that have spiraled into absurdity on social media," Diddy's daughters said in a joint Instagram post, joining their older brothers Quincy, Justin, and Christian.
Of course, if you haven't checked in on Diddy's kids recently, it may come out of left field that they're even mature enough to get involved. But they aren't just mouthpieces for their dad, and the personal growth and evolution undertaken by Diddy's daughters may surprise you. Putting aside the serious allegations against Diddy — which, in an ideal world, shouldn't reflect on his children — these independent young women have made huge strides in their own journeys.

Eldest daughter Chance Combs has grown into a college student and aspiring actor
On Instagram, Chance Combs' mother, Sarah Chapman, reminisces about her daughter as a chubby-cheeked baby, but in reality, Chance is blossoming into a strong young woman ready to take on the world. After graduating from high school in May 2024, Chance has reportedly enrolled at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. It's the first step toward her ultimate dream, which is to become an actor and performer in her own right.
Joining her father at the Oscars in 2022, Chance wrote on Instagram, "Acting has been my passion for the past few years while going to acting classes, auditions, and working on my self-tapes. So attending the Oscars with my dad was so amazing!" At the same event, Chance stopped on the red carpet to exchange a few words with Laverne Cox of E! Insider. "Zendaya is one of my biggest inspirations and someone that I really want to work with in the future," she revealed. Zendaya has undergone a stunning beauty transformation over the years, so it's understandable she's one of Chance's idols.
In the meantime, Chance has already made strides as an internet personality. Though she doesn't post too often, she has more than 380,000 Instagram followers who are treated to glimpses into her jet-setting lifestyle with photos from locales like Hawaii and Venice. Chance has also shared a few notable brand partnerships, from making videos of shopping at David Yurman to promoting Glam-Aholic Lifestyle with sisters D'Lila and Jessie Combs.
D'Lila and Jessie Combs are following in their mother's modeling footsteps
Identical twins D'Lila Star Combs and Jessie James Combs were born only five months after their older sister Chance, and are inscribing a similar arc from childhood to womanhood. Despite the loss of their mother, model Kim Porter, in 2018, the two inseparable sisters haven't shied away from the limelight. On the contrary, they seem to be honoring their mother by pursuing their own careers in modeling. "It was very inspiring, watching her try on the clothes and take pictures," D'Lila told V Magazine in 2023. "We always would watch her and know that that's what we wanted to do."
Though modeling is known to have a dark side in the way of relaxed labor laws and work-life balance, the twins are already making progress toward this goal. Not only have they dabbled in child modeling in years past, but D'Lila and Jessie made their high-profile adult runway debut in 2021, walking in Dolce & Gabbana's Alta Moda show. "Walking in the Dolce & Gabbana fashion show was a true dream come true. Before that, whenever people would ask us about our dream brand to walk for, our answer would always be Dolce & Gabbana. The whole experience was amazing," the twins told Galore.
They've appeared on more runways since — such as at the Liberty and Justice show at Miami Swim Week in 2023. They've also racked up more than 753,000 followers on Instagram, where they commonly share content posing and voguing in matching ensembles.
Youngest daughter Love Combs is the beloved baby of the family
Born in 2022, Love Sean Combs is still a fresh-faced toddler — for now. But everyone knows that those childhood years fly by, and it may not be that long before we see Love appearing at events with her older sisters. Chance, D'Lila, and Jessie Combs already fawn over their little sibling, and as life opens doors for them, we can only imagine that they'll help Love chase the same opportunities. "Mi amor," the twins captioned a photo with their little sister on Instagram.
It seems that Love may also be in line for a globe-trotting lifestyle like her older siblings. A recent Instagram post from Love's mom Dana Tran shows the little girl looking curly-haired and tropical on a trip to Hawaii. However, the dynamic of Love's immediate family is a little unclear — though years have gone by, father Sean "Diddy" Combs has never disclosed the exact nature of his relationship with Tran.
What we do know is that Tran is a major influence over her daughter, even introducing the toddler to her Vietnamese heritage from a young age — such as in an adorable Instagram video where they practice counting in the language together. As Love gets older, having so many fierce female role models to emulate among her mother and sisters will probably make her one to watch, too.
The older Combs sisters have an interest in beauty (and humanitarianism)
With Chance Combs interested in acting and twins D'Lila and Jessie Combs pursuing modeling careers, it's no big surprise that beauty and fashion are shared interests among the three siblings. What's more special is how their beauty perspective leans heavily into empowerment and humanitarianism. "Our beauty philosophy embraces self-expression and individuality," D'Lila and Jessie told Galore, admitting that their own beauty must-haves are "lip gloss, lotion, and lip liner."
In January 2021, Chance, D'Lila, and Jessie synthesized this love of beauty with their interest in helping people to support a women's and children's shelter in LA. As documented on D'Lila and Jessie's shared YouTube channel, the trio joined forces to donate beauty and skincare packages for shelter residents, hoping to spread a little love and confidence to women in need. After all, self-care activities like skincare routines can help women fight back against low self-esteem. " ... the most beautiful thing we can do is give back to others," Chance says in the video.
The sisters shared more of the thought process behind their outreach in a 2021 statement to People. "Last year and going into this year has been difficult for so many. We know how truly blessed we are, and our parents have taught us the importance of helping others," they said. "It's something that we've made a goal for ourselves as we start to make our own decisions and find our paths as young women."
Despite coming from a blended family, the Combs sisters share a close-knit bond
Apart from the twins, each of Sean "Diddy" Combs' daughters has a different mother — Chance was born to businesswoman Sarah Chapman, D'Lila and Jessie to model Kim Porter, and Love to cybersecurity specialist Dana Tran — making them all half-siblings. However, that hasn't gotten in the way of their sisterly bond. "We always have a support system in each other," D'Lila told V Magazine. "We are always supporting each other no matter what our goals are, what we want to do in the future."
This explains why the three older girls are often spotted together, both on the red carpet and on social media. And while Diddy's recent descent into scandal can't be easy on their family, it seems to be pushing the siblings closer still. Though Chance is attending school in New York and twins D'Lila and Jessie are reportedly staying with a family friend in Los Angeles, the sisters have joined their three brothers to show a unified front in support of their father.
In the aforementioned joint Instagram post, the siblings expressed this togetherness, writing, "We stand united, supporting you every step of the way. We hold onto the truth, knowing it will prevail, and nothing will break the strength of our family." Diddy's daughters — minus toddler Love — have even made appearances in court to stand with their accused dad. While only time will tell the outcome of Diddy's many trials, the bond between his children — and his daughters, in particular — seems built to last.
