Taylor Swift's Latest Game-Day Look Has Fans All Saying The Same Thing

Amid rumors of a breakup contract between her and Travis Kelce, Swift showed up at the first Kansas City Chiefs game of 2024 on September 5 to support her man. Of course, all eyes were on the "Cruel Summer" singer's outfit, and she didn't disappoint. Wearing a denim corset top and matching shorts, Swift strutted through Arrowhead Stadium in deep-red thigh-high boots, and eagle-eyed fans immediately honed in on a possible clue.

"If you saw Taylor Swift's Chiefs game day opener outfit and immediately had deja vu, you are not alone. ... I immediately thought of one thing, and one thing only. The boots that Miss Taylor Swift wore in the 'Look What You Made Me Do' music video," one TikTok user shared. Another fan noted that the Louis Vuitton handbag that Swift was carrying resembled one of the suitcases in the music video. It could very well be that she decided on this particular 'fit on a whim, but Swift is known for dropping hints in her outfits — and fans are convinced that she just made a nod to her "Reputation" era.

Taylor Swift has had a stunning style transformation over the years, and she's long used it to send messages to her fans. In fact, in 2019, she told Entertainment Weekly, "Easter eggs can be left on clothing or jewelry. This is one of my favorite ways to do this." Following her game-day 'fit reveal, fans have been poring over every detail and have concluded that "Reputation" is going to be Swift's next album re-release, beating out her debut album, which is yet to be re-released. "This was her VMAs afterparty dress and the boots are giving REP?! Could it be a clue," a user on X, formerly known as Twitter, pointed out. Another stated of the pop star's Louis Vuitton purse, "THE BAG HAS A KEYHOLE SHE HAS REPUTATION TV TRACKS FROM THE VAULT IN THERE GIMME GIMME."

In her 2023 interview with TIME Magazine after being named the outlet's Person of the Year, Swift briefly touched upon re-recording "Reputation" — and declared that the album's vault tracks are "fire." She said, "I'm collecting horcruxes. I'm collecting infinity stones. Gandalf's voice is in my head every time I put out a new one." With most of her albums re-recorded to reclaim ownership of her masters, only "Reputation" and "Taylor Swift" are left. Her Chiefs vs. Ravens look strongly suggests fans will get what they're eagerly waiting for, but still, other clues reveal that her 'fit is largely girlfriend-coded.

Don't come for Taylor Swift's relationship with her man, Travis Kelce! While the red thigh-high boots aren't the exact ones from her "Look What You Made Me Do" video, they're super similar. Fashion blogger Taylorswiftstyled appears to have ID'd Swift's game-day boots on Instagram, revealing that they could be from Giuseppe Zanotti. Meanwhile, the pair worn in the music video are from Christian Louboutin. 

Among her expensive pieces of game-day jewelry was a pair of earrings in two of Swift's many piercings called Single Long Love Explosion Starburst Charm. "The 'Long Love' name feels both appropriate to the circumstances for why she's at the game and it also sounds a lot like her own song 'Long Live,'" the Swift-obsessed blogger noted in a separate Instagram post. The "Lover" singer also wore a friendship bracelet that possibly spelled out "KC ... TAY TAY."

What's more telling are her shorts, which are made by the brand Grlfrnd, according to taylorswiftstyled. "She's telling everyone to stop saying [they're] engaged! She's still enjoying being his girlfriend!" a fan commented. Another Swiftie wrote, "This reminds me of when Meghan Markle wore a shirt with the style name 'husband' early on in their relationship haha love the subtle relationship updates through clothes!" Fans get the message loud and clear: Swift and Kelce are endgame.
