The year 2020 marked a big moment for Daisy Edgar-Jones, as she starred in the Hulu adaptation of the bestseller "Normal People" by Sally Rooney — a project that helped the actor reach international fame. "When I got the recall, I read the book in one day, I'm a massive romantic so I loved the fact it was a love story," Edgar-Jones gushed to the BBC that year.

I want to be in sparkly sequins, beautiful dresses, funky heels," the actor told L'Officiel, and she wasn't kidding, as her style became more adventurous each day.

In 2022, Daisy Edgar-Jones became even more famous thanks to her starring roles in the movies "Fresh" and "Where the Crawdads Sing." With her newfound fame also came a major interest in the star's style, and she revealed just who her celebrity fashion inspirations are. "It was pictures of Alexa Chung and Kate Moss, with a bit of Sienna Miller thrown in," Edgar-Jones told Elle, talking about the outfits she was planning on wearing to Glastonbury that year.

As far as fashion goes, 2022 was a big year for the actor, as she got to attend its biggest night: the Met Gala. For the occasion, she wore a fun and sparkly Oscar de la Renta dress. "I just love clothes," Edgar-Jones told Vogue in 2022. When Marie Claire asked the star who her ultimate style icon was, Edgar-Jones didn't hesitate before saying "Jean Shrimpton," referring to the iconic British model from the '60s. "I really like anyone who has a fringe with straight hair. I somehow like everything they wear, I'm not sure if it's the hairstyle," she added.

Daisy Edgar-Jones let go of her fashion fears in 2023 and embraced several unique and edgy looks. In particular, her 2023 Met Gala outfit was a Gucci masterpiece that looked incredible on her. "It's a black two-piece set, which features white piping and bow details, as well as a camellia flower at the front," she revealed (via Glamour). "It's the most beautiful outfit I've ever worn. I feel very elegant but also comfortable in it."

Even though everyone agrees that Daisy Edgar-Jones' place at the gala is more than justified, the actor admitted that it all still feels like she's dreaming. "I can't actually believe I'm going again — there's so much I love about the Met Gala," she gushed to Vogue. "People-watching is one of my favorite pastimes, and the event is perfect to do that, but I also love fashion and I enjoy seeing how people express themselves through clothes." Of course, the Met Gala wasn't Edgar-Jones' only fashion peak of the year. In fact, the star had so many that picking one would be impossible. But another look that certainly put her in the spotlight was the see-through Gucci gown that she looked breathtaking in at the annual Vanity Fair Oscar Party. 

In entering the second half of her 20s, Daisy Edgar-Jones became more comfortable in her fashion choices in 2024, allowing herself to explore clothes she surely wouldn't have worn at the beginning of her career. "Working with Daisy is a dream — she is a real natural beauty, but she can easily transform into any character," celebrity hairstylist Cervando Maldonado said of the star to WhoWhatWear this July. In a 2024 interview, Edgar-Jones admitted that she always wants to impress her stylist Dani Michelle. "I always try to dress as fashionably as possible for meeting Dani," the actor also told the outlet this July. 

For the premiere of the movie "Twisters," Edgar-Jones wore a custom gown by Vivienne Westwood — a piece that we couldn't get enough of. "Daisy loves fashion," her stylist revealed to Harper's Bazaar. "She sees the art in dressing, and has been inspired by all of the designers we are working with on this press tour; seeing their craft and embodying the moment."
