All We Know About Hailey Bieber's Iconic Tattoos

The queen of setting nail and beauty trends, supermodel Hailey Bieber is also one to watch when it comes to tattoo inspiration. The Victoria's Secret star currently has over 20 tats in her collection, with the majority of them being so little that even eagle-eyed fans have probably missed them. The main thing to note about Bieber's ink is that she's a fan of fine-line styles and minimal designs — and would you expect anything else from the icon who brought us the subtle glazed donut manicure?

Occasionally, Bieber will hard-launch her new ink on Instagram, as she did with the bow emoji which she had tattooed onto her wrist at the end of 2023. But otherwise, the only way to keep up with the model's ever-expanding catalog is to keep your eyes peeled. To date, some of her most notable tiny tattoos include the double chevron design on her pinky, the word "seek" printed in fine-line cursive on her neck, and the notorious gun on her middle finger, which she has revealed she regrets. "I think at 18, I was like, 'Yeah! That looks cool.' But now, as a 24-year-old, I would never do that. I think guns are violent," she told Elle in 2021. Aside from a few spur-of-the-moment designs, most of Bieber's art is meaningful, often pointing to her loved ones and her personal religious beliefs.

Hailey Bieber's tattoos have all kinds of meanings, but there are quite a few that pay tribute to the most important people in her life. Often, these are (non-cringey!) matching tattoos that she shares with those people, as is the case with the peach tattoo she got inked on her arm in 2021. Both Hailey and her husband Justin Bieber opted for twin peaches to celebrate the success of Justin's single of the same name. Additionally, Hailey has a "J" inscribed on her ring finger for her pop star hubby. But Hailey has also shown love for her friends, getting matching tattoos of the word "gente" with her gal pal model Mari Fonesca, and half of a broken heart together with Kendall Jenner. "Hailey and I have matching [broken heart halves] on the left side but hers is red," Jenner wrote on her now defunct blog back in 2016, per Teen Vogue.

Of course, Hailey also has plenty of ink to represent the love she has for her family. This includes the "coeur d'alene" design she has on her back, which is thought to be an ode to her sister Alaia Baldwin. She also has the word "Baldwin" inked onto her middle finger, showing love to her family and roots. Hailey's cousin Ireland Baldwin — the daughter of actor Alec Baldwin — has the same tattoo. 

Some of Hailey Bieber's tattoos may be just for fun, but many are more serious — especially those that nod to her religious beliefs. She and husband Justin Bieber are believed to identify as Christian and have often been spotted attending church services. "To me, my relationship with Jesus is I believe that he was about love and acceptance," Bieber revealed in conversation with actor and comedian Yvonne Orji on her YouTube channel in 2021. While she doesn't often talk about her faith, Hailey showcases her connection to her Christianity with some of her ink.

One of her most prominent religious tattoos is the tiny cross she has on her neck, which is often hidden by her hair. Hailey also has the word "PRAY" inked on her fingers, with "PR" appearing on her left index finger and "AY" appearing on her right. This way, the word is only complete and legible when she makes praying hands. It's also believed that Hailey's "3:30" tattoo on her right hand is in reference to the John 3:30 bible verse: "He must increase; but I must decrease."
