Shiloh Jolie-Pitt Lives A Lavish Life

After Shiloh Jolie-Pitt was born in 2006, the public simply couldn't get enough of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's first biological child. However, Shiloh has always kept her life private, and while we've seen her at industry events with her famous parents, Angelina and Brad have kept their daughter out of the spotlight, at least for the most part.

"Shiloh has no concept of what it's really like to struggle, but she doesn't think it's very cool to be some rich nepo baby," a source revealed to OK! this July. "She wants to study dance and live in a humble apartment with a bunch of kids her own age. That's what her mom did when she was young. In a lot of ways, she and Angelina are very alike." In fact, the source added that Shiloh avoids spending money on materialistic things. "Shiloh is disgusted by people who waste money on designer bags when there are people going hungry. She thinks it's totally tacky. She almost never spends money on herself. She wears secondhand clothes and would happily shop at thrift stores all the time if she wasn't worried about getting recognized." 

However, just because Shiloh isn't a famous teen star and she doesn't have aspirations to be in the spotlight, that doesn't mean she isn't living it up. In many ways, Shiloh is living a lavish life that features luxury estates, designer clothing, and plenty of traveling — things that most people would consider the mark of privilege, but are just "normal" to her. 

Even though she doesn't normally work in the entertainment industry — she did some voice work for 2016's "Kung Fu Panda 3," but her experience doesn't extend much further than that — Shiloh Jolie-Pitt has attended numerous star-studded Hollywood premieres thanks to her famous parents. In fact, the Hollywood offspring has been attending movie premieres alongside her siblings since she was a child, and it seems as if supporting her parents' work has been an important part of her life.

While most of us could only dream of attending a proper Hollywood premiere, this is normal for Shiloh. The teen has attended endless fancy events throughout the years and has consequently had several notable red-carpet fashion moments. In a 2023 interview with Vogue, Angelina Jolie revealed that her kids choose to attend the events and that they are always allowed to skip them if they don't feel like going. "Nobody has to go anywhere if they don't want to, and if they don't want to dress up, they don't have to," she said. Since Angelina and Brad Pitt divorced, Shiloh has been mostly supporting her mother by attending premieres for movies like "Maleficent: Mistress of Evil" in 2019 and "The Eternals" in 2021.

Those who have been keeping up with the Jolie-Pitt kids know that traveling has always been a major part of their lives. Their parents tend to travel a lot for movie projects and humanitarian work, and this has allowed Shiloh Jolie-Pitt and her siblings to see plenty of different parts of the world. "We're never going to stop traveling. I think the greatest education I can give my kids, particularly as they are international children, is to keep them traveling," Angelina Jolie told People in 2007. "I think if they spend six months in Africa and come back to LA and then go to Asia for a few months we are showing them so much about the world and so much about understanding and tolerance and the beauty of other cultures."

In fact, traveling is such a crucial part of Shiloh's childhood that Angelina even admitted she prefers going somewhere with her children for the holidays instead of celebrating at home. "I love to travel in the holidays because I feel like I'd rather give the kids the gift of a new country than a box of presents. But I still give them some presents," the Hollywood star confessed in 2013 (via Business Standard). While a beautiful experience, traveling definitely counts as a privilege, and something that many children don't get to enjoy nearly as much as Shiloh has. Traveling is not only expensive, but most parents also don't have jobs that are flexible enough for them to even consider moving around that much.

As the daughter of two of Hollywood's biggest stars, it's safe to say that if Shiloh Jolie-Pitt ever decided to pursue a career in the movie industry, plenty of doors would be open for her. She already has a few acting credits — in 2008, baby Shiloh appeared in "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" alongside her dad, and in 2016, she lent her voice to a character in the animated movie "Kung Fu Panda 3" alongside her mother.

However, according to Angelina Jolie, Shiloh isn't very much into acting, and she even declined a role alongside her mother in Disney's "Maleficent," which was released in 2014. "I asked Shiloh about being Aurora, and she laughed in my face," the actor admitted to Elle that year. Shiloh's younger sister Vivienne took on the role instead. "Brad and I made the decision that we wouldn't keep them from sets and the fun of making movies, but we wouldn't [glorify it either] — we wouldn't make it a good thing or a bad thing," Angelina went on in the interview.

While Angelina never forces her kids to participate in projects she's working on, she does encourage them to be creative. "Angie's very encouraging of that," a source revealed to Us Weekly in 2023. "She wants all the kids to explore their creative sides and hear from talented actors and actresses directly what it's like to work in the biz, how they got their start and so on and so forth." Of course, this is a privilege that only comes with having famous parents — most young people who want to pursue a career in Hollywood have to face plenty of closed doors at first.

With both of her parents being Hollywood stars, it's not surprising that Shiloh Jolie-Pitt has lived in quite a few luxurious homes. Angelina Jolie has owned properties in Cambodia and Spain, as well as a 17th-century château in France where she married Brad Pitt in 2014, in addition to the multiple homes and apartments she has owned in the United States. Among the most famous of these residences was their apartment in New York City's prestigious Waldorf Astoria.

After Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt separated, Angelina bought a $24.5 million mansion in Los Feliz. "I wanted it to be close to their dad, who is only five minutes away," the Hollywood star told British Vogue in 2021. "I love most that there is no entertainment room, but lots of pathways and places to walk and think. I feel very fortunate we have that at this time." The mansion had been built in 1913, and prior to Angelina moving in with her brood, it was owned by Hollywood legend Cecil B. DeMille. The home was built on an estate spanning 2.1 acres, and it has views of both the ocean and the city of Los Angeles.

It's great for children to have special interests, but often, parents are unable to support them as some hobbies can get quite expensive. Of course, for Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, money was never going to be an obstacle as her parents could afford to fund any hobby she chose. In the early 2020s, Shiloh picked up dancing and she began practicing at the Movement Lifestyle Studio in Burbank, California. Her dance coach Lil Kelaan Carter shared to Instagram that "her movement is crazy."

Both of Shiloh's parents couldn't be more proud of her talent and passion, and a source admitted that they will support her no matter what she decides to do with dancing in the future. "Brad and Angie are both very proud," the source told Us Weekly in 2022. "They'd have no issue if she wants to turn pro, but they're not pushing it on her by any means." The source added, "Shiloh loves dancing. She's seriously talented and has been going to these classes for a few years now." Along with genuinely falling in love with the art of dance, Shiloh has also reportedly "made some good friends through the dancing community too."

It's no secret that education can be expensive, but luckily for Shiloh Jolie-Pitt (and her siblings), her parents have more than enough to afford to send her to any school she wants, debt-free. In fact, her brother Maddox is enrolled at Yonsei University in South Korea, while her sister Zahara is all grown up and attending Spelman College in Atlanta. While it is still unknown what Shiloh will decide to do after high school, there's no doubt that she has more options than most children.

Angelina Jolie has always stressed just how important education is for her children, which is also why she encouraged traveling so much. In an interview on BBC's "Woman's Hour," the "Tomb Raider" star admitted that all of her kids adore learning new languages. "All the kids are learning different languages. I asked them what languages they wanted to learn and Shi is learning Khmai, which is a Cambodian language, Pax is focusing on Vietnamese, Mad has taken to German and Russian, Z is speaking French, Vivienne really wanted to learn Arabic, and Knox is learning sign language," Angelina revealed.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have ensured that all of their children have trust funds. Most kids could only dream of having a trust fund to access in the future, but for Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, that's not a dream — it's reality.

"One thing Brad and Angelina [Jolie] always agreed on was that any money earned by their kids should be set aside for them and put into their trust funds," the source revealed to Life & Style in 2024. "They created accounts for all their kids to use for things like education and travel and even to buy their own homes down the line. All the kids have all had very careful forward planning done for them financially, whether it's magazine paydays, or inheritance from relatives, or money accumulated in trust over the years." 

While the exact rules regarding her trust fund access aren't clear, Shiloh clearly has access to money now. When Shiloh underwent the huge transformation of filing to drop "Pitt" from her last name in 2024, she financed a lawyer all by herself. "Shiloh hired her own lawyer and paid for it herself, so Angie doesn't know and can't speak for it," a source told Entertainment Tonight. The fact that Shiloh has a trust fund to fall back on is a luxury that most people can't relate to.

As the daughter of style icon Angelina Jolie, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt has an innate fashion sense. "And I would never be the kind of parent to force somebody to be something they are not. I think that is just bad parenting," Angelina admitted to Reuters in 2010. "Children should be allowed to express themselves in whatever way they wish without anybody judging them because it is an important part of their growth."

For Shiloh, Angelina's philosophy meant that she could explore style on her own terms, and as a toddler and tween, she was very into masculine fashion. For the "Eternals" premiere in the U.K. in 2021, Shiloh donned a patterned black-and-white Dior dress that Angelina had previously worn to a press conference. "My kids are all mixed with vintage, and in my old Oscars dress. We did all vintage and upcycled my old stuff," Angelina revealed to ET during the premiere in Los Angeles, to which Zahara and Shiloh showed up rocking Elie Saab Haute Couture and Gabriela Hearst, respectively.

While not much is known about Shiloh Jolie-Pitt's net worth — in 2020, the Electric Ride On Cars' Kids Rich List reported that she and her siblings have $250 million in their trust funds, per Hola!. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Brad Pitt is estimated to be worth $400 million while Angelina Jolie has a net worth of $120 million, so it's not surprising that their children already have millions, too.

Meanwhile, In Touch reports that Shiloh is making more than $10,000 a week. A source told the outlet in 2023 that she is very "savvy when it comes to finances" and she earns "$14,000 a week doing side jobs." In case you're wondering just how the teen makes money, she has had plenty of modeling opportunities. "She's been offered lucrative modeling gigs, which she's mulling over," the source added. "Shiloh says modeling isn't her thing, but she would use the paycheck to finance her dance, art and movie projects." Of course, having the genetics of one of the hottest couples in Hollywood history surely helps when getting hired as a model. Apart from modeling, the source claims that Shiloh is also doing "small dance jobs, tutoring and reading books to produce as films" to earn some extra money. "Shiloh is a typical 16-year-old, and she's expressing herself in so many ways," the insider revealed. "Her main love right now is dance, and she's really good at it."

When Shiloh Jolie-Pitt was born in 2006, all eyes were on Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. The two Hollywood stars decided to accept a lucrative offer from People magazine, which reportedly paid an impressive $4.1 million for the right to publish the first baby pics of Shiloh (via TMZ). The fact that she managed to remain humble and down-to-earth attests to her upbringing and the values her parents managed to instill in her, in spite of her privileged access to a lavish life.
