Suni Lee is one of the top-tier gymnasts on the 2024 U.S. Women's Olympic Team and always looks fierce on and off the mat. While it's her athletic abilities that grab everyone's attention, the native Minnesotan knows the importance of game-day makeup. In an Instagram video, Lee showed off her bare face in a GRWM sesh with content creator Meredith Duxbury. "Typical competition days are 10 to like, 12 hours long ... We sweat so much," Lee revealed. She shared that the team has no time for touch-ups, which is why the right products are a must for her.

Lee is known to rock false lashes and even long acrylic nails while competing. "I love soft glam, elegant looks. I think it just suits me. That was probably a gymnast-y answer since we focus so much on elegance and precision in gymnastics. But I love a very simple look and soft glam," she told Byrdie. However, her everyday look is more natural and the times she went makeup-free prove that she doesn't need any extra products to shine.

When she's performing her feats of strength on camera, you can expect Suni Lee to have a full face of makeup. However, when posing in her Olympic gear in 2021, she chose to go natural. "Pressure makes diamonds," she wrote in her Instagram post. Lee's jet-black hair contrasted gorgeously on her medium-toned skin and her full lips needed no enhancement at all.

Suni Lee showed off her feminine side with a selfie of herself wearing a pretty green and white floral sundress. She chose to keep her look simple with no jewelry or makeup. "I wear very limited makeup on a normal day, but I love enhancing my features," the Olympic gold medalist revealed to Byrdie. Her favorite way to get strong bold brows is to make them darker by using a gel.

After the 2020 games which were postponed to the following year due to COVID-19, she showed off her three wins — silver, bronze, and gold — with her family. As the first Asian American to take the gold in the women's all-around in gymnastics, Lee has a lot to be proud of, and her beaming face shows it.

In 2020, Suni Lee shared a snap of her officially becoming a student at Auburn University. Of course, she competed on their gymnastics team and gave a shout-out to everyone who helped her get there. "I'm officially a tiger! a special thank you to my family and coaches for everything they've done for me. my parents, for giving up everything for me and being my biggest supporters through everything," she wrote. As a fresh-faced college student, Lee didn't need any makeup to capture this proud moment.

Suni Lee showed off her subtle candlelit brunette hair and makeup-free face in a 2023 TikTok video before showing fans her makeup routine. Her first step was to apply concealer under her eyes. After she blended it in with a flat brush, she applied pressed powder, followed by some bronzer along her cheeks and forehead. Finally, Lee darkened her brows with a pencil for her pro-level no-makeup makeup look.
