Megan Fox Has Owned Up To All Her Plastic Surgery Procedures - Except One

Admittedly, the field of cosmetic medicine has come a long way in the last 100 years of plastic surgery, but the topic is still not completely taboo-free. Especially in the world of A-listers, where celebrities are constantly scrutinized and held under the microscope, being open about plastic surgeries is not always easy. Nevertheless, the ultra-sexy "Transformers" actor Megan Fox has owned up to all her surgeries (well, almost all of them!). 

During a March 2024 interview with Alex Cooper of the "Call Her Daddy" podcast, Fox admitted to having certain surgeries (such as breast augmentation) and denied rumors about others (such as the Brazilian butt lift). Unlike other celebrities (like the stunning Bella Hadid, who spent years denying the rumors of her rhinoplasty, only to admit that she did have one as a teen), the famous mother-of-three put an end to speculations. However, she did admit that there's one surgery which she's keeping to herself.

While there's been no official confirmation from Fox as to what this mystery surgery could be, fans and experts alike have weighed in with some possibilities based on the criteria that Fox gave Cooper, including bone contouring, extra skin removal, and blepharoplasty. Of course, everyone has every right to do what they want with their bodies, and we are not here to judge. Everybody deserves to feel comfortable in their own skin, and no matter how curious we the public are, justification is never owed to us.

During the podcast, Megan Fox candidly ran through all her previous surgeries, hoping that her honesty would help to ease the stigma surrounding the issue. She gave her opinion on the stigma back in a 2010 interview with Allure, suggesting that there's no shame in undergoing procedures as long as people also try other options to work through insecurities, like talk therapy. "If then you feel [like] this is something [you] want to do, then do it. It's amazing that we have the technology to do the stuff that we do," she said, per Yahoo! Entertainment.

The actor had breast augmentation surgery when she was 21 or 22, but then had to repeat the surgery after she finished breastfeeding her children. She then had to have the procedure redone, because "the rippling of the implant" was obvious. The mother-of-three also admitted to having one nose job (not several) done during her early 20s. When asked about Botox and dermal fillers, Fox confirmed that she has had those too. 

"I've never had a facelift of any kind," the "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen" star admitted. Additionally, Fox said that there is no way she could have had buccal fat removal since she is a "very lean person." For this reason, she has not had any liposuction or body contouring, or a BBL (because the Brazilian butt lift would require moving fat from her body to her buttocks).

Despite her transparency, Megan Fox is still keeping one surgery secret. According to a Boston-based facial plastic surgeon Dr. Spiegel, there are a couple of possibilities regarding this "mystery" surgery. For instance, she could have had her "ears brought in" or a "mini tummy tuck." Another valid speculation would be something to do with extra skin removal as a result of her pregnancies. Or, she could even have had some bone implants or bone contouring to give her that signature "chiseled jawline." One fan in the comments guessed that Fox had cheek implants. 

However, during the interview, Fox mentioned that she didn't believe that Alex Cooper needed this particular surgery, so we are guessing it's something that is visible with the naked eye on a fully clothed person. Based on this, we can scratch out bone contouring and extra skin removal. Fox also said it's not a popular surgery, so there goes the tummy tuck speculation (even though many fans mentioned "mommy makeover" in the video's comments, while others proposed blepharoplasty as an option).

Unfortunately, there's no way to know for sure without Fox coming clean. However, she did admit during the interview that "any surgery is a risk to your life" and that she is super worried about anesthesia. " ... I'm very afraid of dying under general anesthesia, so I don't take surgery lightly and, therefore, I have not had many of them because of that." So whatever surgery she had, it was likely to remedy something that was bothering her — and that's totally valid.
