These Celebrity Kids Have The Potential To Be Fashion Icons

When your parents are A-listers, you're bound to get plenty of media attention. Fans typically go wild when their favorite actors, models, and singers sprout a cute baby that they parade in designer onesies and adorable outfits. Still, celebrity kids get scrutinized as much as their famous parents. As Us Weekly fashion director Sasha Charnin Morrison explained to MPR News, celebrity children "are a walking billboard of you. They're a reflection of who you are, so if you are someone highly stylized, then you want to make sure your kids are the best-dressed kids out there."

Case in point: Who can forget the diamond ring that Kylie Jenner bought 22-month-old Stormi?  Or how about Cardi B, who purchased a $48,000 bejeweled Birkin bag for her daughter Kulture? Not all celebrity children have a stylist following them around, but many A-listers pass the knowledge they've gained from years of posing in front of the cameras to their kids. So, it's no surprise that many of these children are future fashion icons.

From Neil Patrick Harris' stylish twins and Kim Kardashian's trendy mini-me, to Beyoncé and Jay-Z's heir to the throne, these are the children that have made it to our list of future fashion icons.

"How I Met Your Mother" star Neil Patrick Harris and partner David Burtka share two kids: Harper Grace and Gideon Scott Burtka-Harris. The twins were born in 2010 via a surrogate and are no strangers to the limelight. Aside from their famous family Halloween costumes (who can forget their "Alice in Wonderland" ensembles?) the twins are also known for their fashion-forward choices — especially Harper. 

Whether she's enjoying fun holidays to Walt Disney World or Easter celebrations with the family, Harper never fails to make an impression with her stylish outfits. Plus, the girl is definitely no stranger to the limelight. She and her brother Gideon even made a cameo appearance in "A Series of Unfortunate Events," where their famous dad played the leading role of Count Olaf.

Besides her acting talent, Harper surely takes after her father's refined sartorial taste. Whether she's sporting cute dresses or honing her casual attire, she has an unmistakable fashion sense. From what we see on social media, we can safely say that her fathers can rest assured that Harper is well on her way to becoming a fashion icon.

You know how the old saying goes: The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Well, nothing could be truer than this for Chicago West. With a fashion guru as her mother and the larger-than-life Kanye West as her father, Chicago couldn't be "unfashionable" even if she tried! And truth be told, Kim Kardashian is definitely sharing some of her style secrets with her baby girl. 

The third child of the former power couple was born on January 15, 2018, via a surrogate. The "ultimate princess" — as the Skims founder described her daughter in an Instagram post — has shown us that she can transform from a cool kid to a princess extraordinaire to a fashion icon, depending on the occasion.

Frequently spotted with her mother while out and about, Chicago is always dressed to the nines. The little girl is spoiled with lavish designer clothes, amongst them a $1,500 Dolce & Gabbana dress. The "Kardashians" star leaves nothing to chance when it comes to Chi Chi's ensembles, especially during red-carpet affairs and celebrations, such as her sixth birthday party. For the Bratz doll-inspired party, the 6-year-old wore a pastel-pink dress over leggings, complete with feathers around the cuffs and the hemline. She finished off the doll-princess look with sparkling pink cowboy boots. Her heart-shaped, gold-chain purse added a little extra pizzazz to the future fashion icon's outfit.

According to Time, Blue Ivy Carter was "the most famous baby in the world" at the time of her birth. The daughter of Beyoncé (who's leading the fashion world into a country era in 2024) and Jay-Z made headlines when she featured on her father's song "Glory" as a newborn. Her cries can be heard on the track, earning her a coveted place in the Guinness World Records as the youngest artist in the U.S. ever to "perform" on a Billboard-charting song.

So, it comes as no surprise that the child who entered the spotlight only hours after being born would continue to wow the public as she grew older. And wowed us, she has. At just 3 years old, she appeared at the Grammys wearing a stunning Dior dress. At age 9, she even won the coveted award for the best music video, "Brown Skin Girl," on which she was a featured artist. Wearing a custom-made Mugler jumpsuit with sparkles in the video, she shined bright like a diamond. Fast forward to the 2024 Grammys, and the 12-year-old girl accompanied her father onstage while he was awarded the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award.

Of course, Blue Ivy has a legacy of making heads turn with her ensembles, and true to her fashion calling, she did not disappoint. Wearing a custom Vivienne Westwood silver-white gown, Larroudé white leather boots, and Boucheron jewels, the young fashionista stole the limelight from her award-winning dad. This celebrity kid surely has the potential to be a fashion icon, but we would argue that she's already there.

Suri Cruise's style transformation has shown us how she's already a fashion icon. Suri takes after "Mission Impossible" actor Tom Cruise's poise and confidence. She also takes after her trendsetter A-lister mom Katie Holmes' flair for everything stylish.

The 18-year-old makes an impression wherever she goes. Capturing the spotlight since day one, the girl has an unmistakable fashion sense. Much like her mom, she is not into making loud public appearances with lavishly extravagant clothes. The "Dawson's Creek" actor has been very protective of her daughter, trying to shield her from the public eye. However, on the few occasions that Suri has been spotted out and about, she was always fashionably dressed.

And this shouldn't come as a surprise. After all, the worth of the iconic Gen-Zer's wardrobe is estimated to be around $3 million. Shocked? You shouldn't be. As a source told the Daily Mail in 2009, "When Suri wants to go shopping, Katie jumps to it and follows her around buying whatever Suri wants. She helps Suri get changed half-a-dozen times every day and follows her daughter around like a glorified bag carrier. It looks like great fun for Suri." We're sure that Katie no longer helps her daughter get changed, but she's certainly passed down her unmistakable fashion.

American model and TV personality Chrissy Teigen and singer John Legend share four kids: Luna Simone (8), Miles Theodore (6), Esti Maxine (1), and Wren Alexander (1). The family makes several public appearances both on and off the red carpet. The doting mother often posts cute family pictures on her Instagram page that showcase their close relationship. However, behind those precious family moments, we can't help but notice one more thing about the couple's celebrity kids: They are always dressed to perfection.

Luna and Miles seem to pop out of a fashion magazine whenever they are spotted in public. Granted, this does not come as a surprise, given their parents' sartorial taste. However, the kids do have a little bit of help from stylist Alana Van Deraa, who ensures they are always impeccably dressed. "In the beginning, Chrissy was just buying all these girly, pretty dresses for Luna by Chloé and Zimmermann," Van Deraa told The Hollywood Reporter. "A few years ago, we put together a lookbook of [hundreds of] outfits that the kids could pick from each morning, because Luna wants to have a say in what she's wearing. She's very independent." Additionally, Luna "is a bit of a perfectionist," as her mother told People. Judging from her put-together looks, we can't help but agree.
