The Most Outdated Outfits Brittany Mahomes Has Ever Worn

Brittany Mahomes is all about fashion — and while she's had a lot of sartorial hits, some of her 'fits were fumbles. The wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is often seen supporting her man from the sidelines wearing the team colors of red, white, and gold. When she's off the field, however, she can be seen in anything from blue sundresses to sizzling bikinis while on vacation. The mom of two is definitely not afraid of showing off her fit body, but when Mahomes donned an '80s-inspired see-through mesh shirt over a bikini top and high-waisted micro shorts, fans thought she had gone to Tacky Town. "Sweetie, I think your stylist forgot to pack the pants with that outfit," a fan commented. "Please don't ever wear this again," another implored.

After gaining fame for being a WAG, Mahomes upped her fashion game and has come a long way from wearing a classic underrated T-shirt dress at the Chiefs' games. However, sometimes she doesn't get her 'fits quite right and ends up looking like she went through a time warp.

Ripped distressed jeans were all the rage during the early 2000s and there was nary a celebrity who didn't incorporate the look into their attire. However, when many chose to leave that era firmly behind, Brittany Mahomes unfortunately did not. Her torn denim minidress made us remember why the trend came and went. Furthermore, as if the dress wasn't enough, Mahomes accessorized with — you guessed it — a matching bucket purse. This is one 'fit she should have said "Bye Bye Bye" to.

Brittany Mahomes might have been the best-dressed at her prom — if it took place in the '80s, that is. 

Her pale yellow dress definitely had a lot going on so we'll start with the top portion. The cut-outs at the chest gave the bodice a sexy element but the two large floral appliqués were an unnecessary distraction. The biggest miss of the dress, however, was the dated ruching around her legs. The piled-on hair updo didn't help detract from her retro aesthetic, but perhaps that's what she was going for.

Matchy-matchy denim is an outdated trend

but Brittany Mahomes has chosen to ignore that fact. While she looked great in her jean crop top and pants set, her pic with hubby Patrick Mahomes looked straight out of a Jordache commercial from the '80s. We think this look would have served better with Mahomes choosing either piece and pairing it with something more modern. The jeans would have looked amazing with

Although Brittany Mahomes wasn't born in the '80s, she clearly loves the decade as was apparent with her metallic silver dress. The off-the-shoulder sleeves and all-over ruching had a retro Valley Girl feel and her matching strappy sandals only added to the outdated effect. All she needed was a scrunchie in her hair and her throwback look would be complete.

If you're one of the elite that gets invited to the Met Gala, this is the time to turn up the fashion. Instead, Brittany Mahomes showed up to the 2023 event that honored Karl Lagerfeld in a dress Kelly Taylor would have worn to a prom in "Beverly Hills, 90210." The white off-the-shoulder dress with silver paneling around her arms just did not scream "high fashion" at an event that is all about exactly that.

Did Brittany Mahomes raid her grandmother's closet or snag her glittery black dress at an antique store? Either way, her 'fit for the Chiefs' ring ceremony in 2023 looked like a vintage find rather than a piece bought in this decade. Her plain black pumps added nothing to her look, nor did her outdated updo. Perhaps Mahomes was just allowing her hubby to shine in his sleek plaid suit and red suede shoes.
