In a bare-it-all interview with Glamour UK, the Rose Inc. founder revealed some of her most coveted skincare and makeup secrets, with one centered around applying blush to your eyelids. "When you've finished applying your blush to your cheeks, just pop that last bit from the brush into your eye socket," she told the publication, vouching for the hack's ability to complete her look and make her makeup more cohesive.

How to achieve the blush eye trick

Blush is traditionally applied around the cheek area and sometimes across the bridge of your nose. But with our internet-famous obsession with skin-like makeup and a healthy flush, it makes sense that blush has found other uses in our makeup routine, a perfect example being Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's makeshift eyeshadow hack.

Like the beauty brand founder and model thoroughly explained to Glamour UK, adding blush to your eyelids can bring your look together, but the last thing you want to do with this hack is totally match your eyeshadow with your blush. This means you'll have to use a light hand on the blush. If you used a fluffy brush to apply your blush on your cheeks, try dusting it off some more and lightly sweeping across your eyelids. If you used a beauty blender with cream or liquid blush instead, ensure there's very little product left on it and lightly tap on your eye sockets to leave a subtle hue that pulls the rest of your look together.

Combine the blush hack with the supermodel's other makeup tips

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's no-gatekeeping policy with her beauty secrets knows no bounds. On her beauty brand website, Rose Inc., Huntington-Whiteley, along with a selection of makeup artists and content creators, shared some more tips on making blush work for you. In the video, she explained that she doesn't just apply blush to the apples of her cheeks but blends it all the way up to the top of her cheekbones. Doing this contours the face and adds a lot more dimension without any of the shadows regular contour application would give. You can also take your natural-looking flush a step further and gently sweep some blush over the "high points of your forehead," as beauty content creator Aysha Sow recommended.

And if you will be applying foundation before trying out any of these blush hacks, Huntington-Whiteley also recommends using your foundation in the areas where you need more coverage first. If you're going for a more skin-like and sheer finish, try a tinted serum, such as her Rose Inc Skin Enhance Luminous Tinted Serum. "Sometimes nothing compares to using the warmth of your fingertips when you're applying a foundation," she told Forbes. "Skin on skin application makes something look very, very natural. A sponge is great as well." Meanwhile, her her go-to multi-tasking concealer is the Yves Saint Laurent Touché Éclat High Cover Radiant Concealer, which also happens to be Meghan Markle's favorite concealer.
