What have you been up to lately?
Just working on my baby! I’ve been in the studio recording my sophomore album for the past year. Right now the album is titled Miss Kelly, and it should be out in June. The first single should drop in a week or two.
What are you listening to
right now?
Right now it’s a Bob Sinclair record called “World Hold On.” It’s the best—it moves really good. I love the beat. It just gives you energy to go out. Also, a lot of Sade; I love Sade. And also Solange, Beyoncé’s little sister. She has an amazing album coming out.
What’s your favorite karaoke song?
“I Will Survive.”
Do you have any beauty tips you can share with us?
Wash your face—as soon as you finish working out and late at night, when the day is done.
What’s your favorite lip gloss?
Kiehl’s. They have a really great berry lip gloss in a tube that I love.
What foundation do you just love?
My favorite foundation right now is Estée Lauder. It just goes on so sheer. I don’t think women need a lot of makeup. I think that we’re beautiful naturally. So it’s important to see your skin.
What’s your go-to mascara?
Oh, YSL. Yves Saint Laurent has the best mascara. Definitely.
Favorite fragrance?
There is a fragrance by Fresh called Lemon Sugar. I love it because it blends in with my own body chemistry. It smells different on everyone … you can make it your own.
What’s your personal style?
It’s very chic; I’m very chill. I wear whatever I feel like wearing. One day I care, and the next day I don’t!
