Rosalía's Worst Outfits So Far

Rosalía has been shaking up the music industry since debuting her album "Los Ángeles" in 2017, but she's not just known for her award-winning bops. The native Spanish singer and songwriter is bold when it comes to her looks, and often steps out in avant-garde, whimsical creations that fashionistas would die for. Ranging from enviable couture to simply bizarre, Rosalía pushes the sartorial envelope a bit too far sometimes.

The "Malamente" singer is already making a name for herself in the fashion world and has teamed up with Dior and Calvin Klein as the face of their campaigns. It's clear that, along with making music, clothing is Rosalía's passion, but she doesn't always get it right. When asked by Highsnobiety how she would describe her past style, she replied, "I'd use the term 'choni,' which, according to Webster's, means an attempt to look elegant, but it mostly ends up looking tacky." It seems the Grammy winner is still finding her footing when it comes to her 'fits, and unfortunately, several of her looks have left us wondering what she was thinking.

As a hit musician, Rosalía naturally gets invited to A-list events, including the 2019 "Lion King" premiere in London, England, and someone decided it was okay for her to show up in a black latex bodysuit for a children's movie. Rosalía later admitted that the 'fit was inappropriate, telling Vogue Spain, "You learn from these things. You learn. Of course, this won't happen again. The combination is terrible. The context was not the right one. Overall, it was a huge fail." This was definitely not the best way to wear a trendy latex look.

Fashion is all about making a statement, but Rosalía made the wrong one when she stepped out in a certain white jacket in April 2024. The piece featured long arms with slits for the hands to peek out, along with multiple leather buckles to make the outerwear appear like a straitjacket. Worn over a long white dress that resembled a hospital gown, Rosalía looked like a patient in a mental ward, which is never okay to cosplay. Straitjackets are now deemed inhumane, and introducing them again as a fashion piece was tasteless.

The tank dress is the easiest summer uniform that's super easy to style and always looks good — if worn in the right season, that is. Curiously, Rosalía chose to wear hers in October 2025 during Paris Fashion Week, and it was an all-white shade, breaking the "no white after Labor Day" rule. One would think someone who loves fashion would step it up for the weeklong designer presentations. However, Rosalía dropped the ball with her plain white tank dress that would have been lackluster in any season, even if she had a giant bird on her head.

Every year, celebs flock to the Met Gala dressed in their finest, with many paying close attention to the dress code. In 2024, it was "The Garden of Time," and florals were seen everywhere, including on Met Gala co-chair Anna Wintour. However, Rosalía went rogue with a strapless black column dress featuring a long train and a sheer face cover. Not a flower or garden-inspired adornment was seen on the Spanish singer, but at least the avant-garde look was on brand for her.
